Cannabidiol
Cannabidiol, commonly known as CBD, belongs to the phytocannabinoid family of compounds which are produced in the flowers of the Cannabis plant. This active ingredient is free from Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) therefore it does not have any psychoactive properties. CBD offers a multitude of benefits to the skin including reducing excessive sebum production, providing anti-inflammatory effects and acting as an antioxidant to shield skin from environmental aggressors. It also improves the skin barrier function by restoring hydration, reducing transepidermal water loss and maintaining skin elasticity for more youthful-looking skin

Melatonin
Melatonin, a naturally-occurring neurotransmitter, plays an important role in regulating skin function and structure. Its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity reinforces the skin’s capacity for repair, renewal and revitalisation.
